Schedule a Free Consultation
We start with a free consultation call. Am I right therapist for you? This matters! One of the biggest predictors of therapeutic progress is the therapeutic relationship. You deserve to have a therapist that you feel good with. This is your time to ask questions including the logistics of therapy like scheduling, availability, costs, insurance reimbursements, and more. You can also ask more about what type of therapy I provide and how I treat and view mental health. You might also share what you’re looking for in a therapist or a brief insight of why your coming to therapy or changing therapists. Any question that feels important to you is important to ask! We might also decide if virtual therapy is right for you or if a referral out is needed for something different. I am happy to support you in any direction that is best for you.
Complete Paperwork, Intake Session, and Goals
If we decide this is a good fit, we schedule our first session! This is called an intake. You will get a link to sign up on the EHR platform, Jane. Here you can manage all your care including paperwork, payment, scheduling, messaging, and access to important files. You will sign consents and all paperwork necessary prior to attending the intake. The intake session is our first session and the goal is for you to share your story in more depth including what's going on, for how long, and what you're looking for or needing at this time. This is also a time to explore your life story further. Some of the therapy styles I use recognize our early experiences matter! Attachment and childhood can play a big role into how and why we are the way we are as adults. But don’t worry. You don’t have to confess all your life experiences and you don’t have to share anything you don’t want to. You get to decide the pace and speed in which you bring me into your world. Your therapy journey is your own, there’s no right or wrong way to travel it, and my job is to bring the therapy interventions to meet you wherever you’re at in that journey

By the end of the intake we will have a starting point for therapy including goals, recommendations, and frequency of sessions.
Schedule Ongoing Therapy
Now we're ready to start! Appointments can be recurring on a pre chosen day and time, they can be scheduled at the end of each session, or clients can directly access the booking website and scheduling calendar to pick a day and time that works for them, when it works for them.

Therapy is flexible. You can cancel appointments any time (before 24 hours), reschedule, and request additional appointments as needed. The goals and recommendations made at intake are to simply guide us.
Sessions completed, no shows, and late cancelations will be charged to the card on file by the end of the day.
Superbills can be provided via email after each completed session. You can also utilized a third party platform, Mentaya, to submit super bills to your insurance on your behalf.
Phase Out of Therapy
You might phase out or stop coming to therapy completely for various reasons. You may have met your therapy goals such as feeling confident and equipped enough to handle life’s current events, having the skills needed to manage mental health symptoms, healing parts of yourself carrying rejection, shame, embarrassment or other difficult feelings, or working through hard and traumatic memories. Life events may also happen that cause you stop coming or take a temporary break. You might move to state I’m unlicensed in and I can no longer provide you with therapy services. Or sometimes you just need a break. Any reason is okay and you are always welcome back, any time.
