Symptom Management

You may not want to revisit your childhood, explore painful memories, or spend time focusing on the past and that’s okay. You might be seeking support focused solely on current mental health symptoms or a recent diagnosis instead.

Therapy focused on symptom management helps you gain insight into your symptoms and/or diagnosis, strengthen coping skills, and implement cognitive and behavioral changes that support your daily functioning and well-being. This may include:

  • learning to manage and cope with anxiety or panic attacks

  • addressing symptoms of depression with cognitive and behavioral changes

  • improving nervous system regulation for things like anger or emotional overwhelm

  • creating routines and structure to support ADHD or neurodivergence

  • building healthier communication and relationship skills to reduce conflict

Therapy is tailored to meet your current needs at this point in time. Whatever you're looking for, we will make the plan together.

Many of my clients already feel as though they know these things. They're often chronically overthinking and know exactly why they are the way they are. They’ve done prior work and know what they should do, yet, they feel stuck. They struggle to implement change, or feel like nothing has worked or helped.
